Honors to the Service
It has been a great honor to served and protect the United States as a soldier in the Army and as the Capitol Police Officer. In total, I have dedicated 25 years as a public servant; eight years as a soldier and 17 as a police officer and as result, I have been given many awards, commendations, recognitions and medals. I have not sought these accolades, I was simply doing my job, excelled in my performance of my duties. I simply kept my oath and those around me have noticed my dedication to fulfill those responsibilities, even if it meant putting my life in harm’s way.The highest honors:
